(Actual response to the Huffington Post article from 5-23-12)
As of 5-23-12, Lady Gaga has been banned from performing a June performance in Jakarta's 52,000-seat Gelora Bung Karno stadium in Indonesia. She had already sold 30,000 tickets before the ban was enforced. Islamic hardliners, and conservative hardliners, in control of the government have cried bloody murder about her “corrupting influence over the youth of the country.”
Total garbage, I say. I am no Lady Gaga fan, but I respect her right to be an artist. And, obviously, this kind of governmental control censorship is something ‘on the edge’ artists have to deal with.

Watch out, America. As you can see from this article, the mixture of hard-line religion and hard-line political conservatism incorporated into the government makes for some frightening declarations! When these religious fanatics are allowed to integrate themselves into lawmaking positions they WILL impose their power and censor the populace with their derision!
Now… in America… the religious right has taken over our politics. This war on women’s rights, this war on contraceptive rights and this male overlord view of deciding what women want is goddamn dangerous… all in the name of GOD! And all this is just women’s issues…
I was raised deeply imbedded in the derision of Pentecostalism.
I have seen it all, and heard it all, from America to Germany and back to America.
I have heard plenty of outrageous religious claims.
But there is one thing I have never seen --
I have never seen God!
I do not know of any man that can prove that he has SEEN God!
Too many men take the bible, or its counterparts, literally!
And they would rather kill a man, or woman, than let them be free of religious derision!
Mitt Romney is a true full-on Mormon! He is also a sleazy snake! He has bounced around from lie to lied… to the public. This man might be sociopathic. How can a man be allowed, by the public at large, to be ascended to almost human-god like power as he is displaying the non-human mindset of a pathological liar and sociopath. I don’t get it.
America… religion in the white house will destroy our beautiful country, and maybe the world. All of these religious dogs have visions of the apocalypse… the rapture… and the middle east plays a direct part in their religious delusional scripts. What in the hell will a Mormon do to American values when he is in control of the White House… with veto power… and an absolute hand in the religious right’s oppressive religious control issues?
My god, America, where is your true fear of God -- wielded by the hand of bat shit crazy religious, often back woods crazy, anti-human skin color, homophobic genocidal maniacs who probably believe North Carolina Eugenics program should be a federal law.

All I know is this fact about my life: I am 53 years old. I have lived all over this planet! As a youth, my mother dragged me to many Pentecostal churches across many countries. I have heard the craziest of the religious craziness and I have never, ever seen GOD!
I have seen many religious men! And I have concluded that they are all evil at their core! Religion is their shield! Evil is their core! A huge bit of that evil might soon be the American overlord!

Religious thugs overtaking the government, forcing the government to declare a woman as the corrupting angel of destruction of its youth? Sounds a little like 2012 America, doesn't it?
